
Social Media Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
1.
Developing social media content plans that are in line with the company’s brand identity and business goals.
2.
Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
3.
Managing daily social media posts. Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
4.
Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
5.
Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts, and making recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
6.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
7.
Advertising on Google and YouTube.
8.
Collaborating with other departments (customer relations, sales, warehouse, etc.) to coordinate actions.
9.
Complementing social media messaging with in-store promotions, including regular visits to stores to provide marketing materials (posters, flyers, video loops, etc.).
10.
Working directly with key vendors on planning and executing marketing activities and providing necessary reports. (There will be webinars, teams and Zoom training on marketing activities.)
11.
On occasion, represent the company at events for photo ops or donations.
12.
Performing other duties when needed.
Requirements
1.
Three or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
2.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3.
Must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
4.
Experience using various analytics software programs.
5.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
6.
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, with good organisational ability.
7.
Self-motivated team player.
8.
Interested in, and knowledgeable about, tech products.
9.
Ability to produce graphic artwork for flyers and social media in line with company brand aesthetics.
10.
Creativity and innovation.
